Hood handing out free ice cream sandwiches Tuesday

BOSTON — Here’s some good news we can all get behind!

Hood is taking over City Hall Plaza Tuesday for National Ice Cream Sandwich Day!

They’ll be giving out thousands of samples of their new S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich at the campout themed event.

The S'mores Ice Cream Sandwich is sweet marshmallow-flavored ice cream with chocolate chips between two graham cracker wafers.

The campout themed event will also feature a vintage 1983 Airstream trailer, faux campfires, camping tents, a variety of outdoor games, and a guitar player to set the campfire mood.

The event takes place Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m.
