Holliston police warn of home, car break-ins

HOLLISTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Holliston are warning residents about a spike in residential and car break-ins.

Police said they have responded to 22 suspicious activity calls, 13 suspicious motor vehicle calls, one breaking and entering into a motor vehicle call and two residential break-in calls in the last month. A spike in suspicious activity and break-ins in surrounding cities and towns has been reported as well.

Police said a resident thwarted a break-in at a home after reporting a suspicious vehicle in the area. According to police, the two men involved were casing the neighborhood for break-in targets.

Officials said anyone who sees suspicious activity should call police.
