Hernandez's lawyers request investigators swear they haven't leaked info

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Lawyers for Aaron Hernandez want every investigator and prosecutor involved in the former New England Patriot's case to sign paperwork saying they have not and will not give any information to reporters.

The lawyers suggest those who violate the oath be charged with contempt of court. They claim press coverage of the Odin Lloyd murder investigation could prevent their client from getting a fail trial.

Their request was put forth in a new filing related to a proposed gag order Thursday.

Judge E. Susan Garsh agreed to reading the proposals before she makes the decision on whether to issue a gag order. There is currently no official gag order in place.

Hernandez is being held without bail on murder and weapons charges in the June 2013 death of Odin Lloyd. He has entered a not guilty plea.
