• Hernandez associate wanted for questioning captured in Conn.

HARTFORD, Conn. (MyFoxBoston.com) – An associate of Aaron Hernandez who was wanted for questioning was held on $250,000 cash bail after he was captured by Hartford police and U.S. Marshals.

Alexander Bradley made an appearance in Hartford Superior Court Friday after he was captured at his girlfriend's home in Hartford earlier in the day.

Upon arrival to the home, U.S. Marshals began knocking on the back door. They say after a short period of time, a male voice asked, "Who is it?"

Investigators claim Bradley stated he was there, but was not going to open the door because he did nothing. U.S. Marshals pushed in the door and apprehended Bradley in the kitchen.

Prosecutors said Bradley violated a protective order by being at a home he was ordered not to be at.

He was held in lieu of bail on charges of violating a protective order and interfering with police.

Prosecutors said Bradley will be brought to Boston to testify before a grand jury on Oct. 8 in relation to a 2012 killing in Boston's South End.

A warrant was issued for his arrest when he previously failed to appear before the grand jury. In court, Bradley's attorney said he had not received the subpoenas to appear.

Police began investigating Hernandez's possible involvement in the South End killing after he was arrested in connection to the death of Odin Lloyd, of Dorchester. Sources told FOX 25 that investigators believe Hernandez and the shooting victims, Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu, were at the same Boston nightclub before the drive-by.

Law enforcement officials had trouble finding Bradley after he filed a lawsuit claiming Hernandez shot him in the eye after a night out at a strip club in February.

A man who survived the drive-by told FOX Undercover exclusively that he believes the former Patriots tight end pulled the trigger in the 2012 killing. Read the full story here: EXCLUSIVE: Witness says Hernandez was triggerman in 2012 double murder
