Herald: 'Lil Poopy's' parents investigated again

Updated:

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The parents of a 9-year-old Brockton rapper known as Lil Poopy are under investigation again.

A lawyer for the boy's father told the Boston Herald that Lil Poopy and a videographer were approached by police after pulling into a McDonald's earlier this week. Officers said they smelled marijuana in the car, but a search turned up nothing.

The lawyer, Joe Krowski, Jr., claimed the new investigation appeared to be sour grapes over how the last investigation went. Luis Rivera, Lil Poopy's father, was cleared of child abuse or neglect in April.

The new case was turned over to DCF officials, according to the Herald.

Kroswki told the Herald that the investigation "rises to absurdity."
