Herald: Extra security cameras to be used at Boston events

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Big events in the city of Boston will now feature dozens more security cameras.

The Boston Herald reports that the 80 portable surveillance cameras used during this year's Fourth of July events will be used at next year's Boston Marathon and other large events.
    
Secretary of Public Safety Andrea Cabral told the newspaper that they learned their lesson following the marathon attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.
    
Cabral said her agency does not want to put up permanent cameras because she said people would justifiably feel like they're under scrutiny.
