Hazmat crews respond to Amesbury business

AMESBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Hazmat crews responded to the scene of a chemical spill in Amesbury Monday afternoon.

Crews were called to ARC Technology on Chestnut Street at about 10:15 a.m. for a flammable chemical spill. A 300 foot perimeter around the building was evacuated. Crews were still at the scene at about 2:30 p.m.

There were no reported injuries. Anyone who lives in the area and has no place else to go is welcome to go to the Amesbury senior center.
