Haverhill police search for bank robber

HAVERHILL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Haverhill Police are searching for a bank robber who allegedly got away from a TD Banknorth Tuesday with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A male walked into the TD Banknorth on Merrimack Street in Haverhill Tuesday around 5 p.m. He wrote a note on a deposit slip that said he had a gun and bombs and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot on Merrimack Street.

Police are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Haverhill Police at 978-373-1212.
