Hartford Courant: Video shows Hernandez, 2012 murder victims at club

(MyFoxBoston.com) – There are major developments in the 2012 double murder in the South End linked to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

It appears Hernandez was in the same place as the victims the night of the deadly shooting. The Hartford Courant reports that authorities have surveillance video showing Hernandez in the same Boston nightclub as Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado just hours before their deaths.

The two men were killed in an early morning drive-by shooting on July 16, 2012, near Herald Street. Police were looking for a gray SUV with Rhode Island license plates in connection to the shooting.

Police seized a silver Toyota SUV with Rhode Island plates from Hernandez's uncle's house in Bristol, Conn., as part of the Odin Lloyd murder investigation. Hernandez has not been charged in connection with the Boston murders, but he will be back in court on Friday in the Lloyd case.

Lloyd's bullet-riddled body was found in an industrial park about a mile from the ex-player's North Attleborough home.
