• Hanson woman charged with OUI following fatal crash


    HANSON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Hanson woman has been charged in connection with a fatal car crash that occurred on Main Street in Hanson early Tuesday morning.

    Police responded to the crash which involved a pedestrian in front of 685 Main St. at about 12:20 a.m.

    Police said the pedestrian, later identified as Aron Langlais, of Hanson, was walking on the shoulder on the southbound side of the road when he was struck by a car that had drifted onto the shoulder. After hitting Langlais, the car struck a tree, police said.

    Langlais was transported to Brockton Hospital and then Beth Israel Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

    The driver, 21-year-old Sara Sansone, was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released. She has been charged with OUI narcotics causing serious bodily injury, motor vehicle homicide, and marked lanes violation.

    Sansone was schedule to be arraigned Tuesday in Plymouth District Court.
