An 18-year-old from Hanson was found dead following a midnight sledding excursion at Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department said Murad and some friends had hiked to the summit of Wildcat Mountain to sled down late Thursday.
When the friends reached the bottom, Murad was not with them. Fish and Game officials said Murad's friends searched for him and called for help at about 3:30 a.m.
Rescue crews began searching for Murad at about 6:30 a.m. His body was found at about 8 a.m. about half a mile from the summit.
Officials said the trails Murad and his friends were on were not open to sledding. The mountain was also closed at the time of the incident.
