BRENTWOOD, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Kathryn McDonough, the girlfriend of murder suspect Seth Mazzaglia, is expected to plead guilty to lying to police about her whereabouts the night University of New Hampshire student Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott was murdered, according to the Union Leader.
McDonough is expected to be the key witness in the upcoming murder trial of her boyfriend, Mazzaglia.
Mazzaglia is accused of killing Marriott at his Dover apartment last October. He told police that he strangled the sophomore during a consensual group-sex act. Her body was never found.
McDonough is expected to change her plea next week as part of a deal struck with state prosecutors.
Terms of the plea bargain haven't been made public.
