SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A 4-year-old girl is in stable condition after being struck by a car in Springfield.
Police Lt. Brian Keenan tells The Springfield Republican (bit.ly/19CuBav) that the girl and her 14-year-old sister were crossing a street around 7:25 p.m. Monday when the accident happened.
The girl is believed to have run into traffic. The driver has not been cited.
An investigation is continuing.
