Funeral plans announced for Avalanna Routh

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Funeral plans have been announced for Avalanna Routh, the little girl we all affectionately called Mrs. Bieber.

A memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Newburyport. A private burial will follow.

The 6-year-old lost her battle Wednesday with a rare form of brain cancer known as AT/RT.

Avalanna captured our hearts with her love for pop-star Justin Bieber.

A FOX 25 staffer was able to pull some strings and set up a meeting between Avalanna and Justin, and the two formed an immediate bond. Bieber called Avalanna one of the greatest spirits he'd ever known.
