Fugitive arrested in NH on armed robbery warrant

CONCORD, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A man suspected of brandishing a firearm during a robbery in Concord was arrested late Monday morning by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, including members from the Concord Police Department.

Corey Porter reportedly committed an armed robbery on Hall Street in Concord on Oct. 11. Police issed an arrest warrant for Porter and requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals - N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force to assist in his arrest.

Porter was featured in a weekly segment known as the "Fugitive of the Week" on Oct. 18. He was believed to be in the Concord area, but always managed to evade law enforcement.

However, police in Concord received a tip Monday morning that Porter was staying at a residence on Blackwater Road in the Penacook section of Concord.

The task force, along with police, responded to the home and arrested Porter. He was brought to the Concord Police Department for processing on the outstanding arrest warrant pending his initial court appearance.
