Fraudulent charities surfacing

(MyFoxBoston.com) – In the wake of the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn., many feel the need to do something to help, including giving to charities to help the victim's families.

With that unfortunately comes scams preying on the vulnerability of people's generosity. Since this was not a national disaster like a hurricane, smaller charities are popping up.

What are some red flags indicating they might not be legit? Paula Fleming from the Better Business Bureau explains.
