FRANKLIN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) –The Franklin school district held a meeting for parents Thursday night as a Franklin High School teacher remains under investigation for alleged sexual misconduct with a female student.
A crisis counselor was on hand to address the allegations and discuss how parents should monitor what their kids are doing online.
The issue came to light after school officials saw kids talking about the alleged incident on social media.
No further information was given about the specifics of the allegations at Thursday's meeting. Reporters were kept in the school cafeteria until parents had left the building.
The teacher at the center of the controversy remains on paid leave. His name has not been released.
