FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man who works as a pastor at a Framingham church was arrested Saturday after his girlfriend called 911.
Framingham police responded to the New Bethel Baptist Church on Beech Street where the girlfriend of Timothy P. Jones, 55, said the pastor hit her with an open and closed fist, the MetroWest Daily News reported.
The woman ran into a bathroom in the church, and Jones followed her inside and wouldn't let her leave. When officers arrived, they found the woman was bleeding and had bruises on her face and shoulder.
Jones has been charged with domestic assault and battery, and a judge ordered him to stay away from his girlfriend and also not drink alcohol.
