• Framingham man charged in fatal Mansfield hit-and-run

    MANSFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Framingham man is facing charges for his alleged connection to a fatal hit-and-run in Mansfield.

    Hung Manh Ho, 57, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident after causing a death and motor vehicle homicide OUI liquor.

    The Framingham man is accused of hitting a pedestrian at the intersection of Hope and Pratt streets just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The victim was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where they died as a result of their injuries.

    A short time after the incident, a Mansfield fire official reported seeing a white box truck traveling the wrong way down North Main Street. The truck, reportedly driven by Hung Manh Ho, was stopped on Thomas Street. Officers said there was damage to the hood and driver side light assembly.

    The 57-year-old is expected to be arraigned Monday in Attleboro District Court.
