Framingham man accused of assaulting delivery woman

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) — Prosecutors say a Framingham man locked a pizza delivery woman in his apartment, told her she was beautiful and he wanted to start a family with her, put her in a bear hug and rubbed against her.

Jonathan Quinlan was held on $10,000 bail after pleading not guilty Tuesday to charges including kidnapping and indecent assault and battery.

Authorities say the woman delivered a pizza to the 42-year-old Quinlan's apartment on Friday afternoon. Quinlan asked her to put the food on the coffee table while he got the money.

Prosecutors told the judge that Quinlan squeezed the woman, kissed her and rubbed his crotch against her leg.

The woman escaped by giving Quinlan a fake phone number.

The MetroWest Daily News (http://bit.ly/VrdhP5 ) reports that Quinlan told police the contact was consensual.
