Framingham High student charged after classmates fall ill from pot brownies

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Framingham teenager accused of selling pot brownies at her high school was arrested Monday after school officials reported two students had become sick from the baked goods.

According to police, two students at Framingham High School went to the nurse's office at about 9 a.m. Monday complaining they felt sick after eating brownies with marijuana in them, reports the MetroWest Daily News.

The students told police they bought the brownies from an upperclassman.

Police questioned a 16-year-old female student, and during a search of her bag, found eight additional marijuana brownies. She told police she made the brownies after finding a recipe online, reports the newspaper.

The female student will be charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug and a school drug-related violation.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
