On Memorial Day, FOX Television Stations launched a new channel called "MOVIES!" It's a film-themed subchannel that will be a great a go-to destination for movie fans.
Types of movies will be classic, iconic, all genres – action, adventure, romance, western, horror, etc., from the libraries of major studios like Fox, Sony and Paramount.
Movies will be available for free via over-the-air television, and later this summer will be available on cable network carriers. The types of movies will be from the 1930s into the 1990s, so you'll see classics that you may not have seen before.
If you have an over the air antenna, you will need to rescan your channels to make sure you can pick up the digital tier.
In Boston, the station will be found on Channel 25.2, a subchannel of FOX 25.
