An Account Executive in FOX 25's Sales Department went to Boston's EMS Headquarters to personally thank the people who recently saved his life.
Jeff Lutz had a half mile to go in a 10K he was running in Boston. He went to a water station and suddenly collapsed on the street.
Fortunately for Jeff, volunteers at the station knew CPR and the Boston EMS responded right away.
Jeff went into cardiac arrest and if he wasn't in the right place at the right time he wouldn't be alive today.
On Thursday, Jeff went to headquarters to thank those who had a hand in saving his life by giving them a Dunkin' Donuts gift card.
Jeff says he has run three marathons and that he will be sticking to running after his two young sons in the future.
