Four Patriots picked for NFL Pro Bowl squad

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Four Patriots have been picked for 2014 NFL Pro Bowl. Tom Brady, Logan Mankins, Matthew Slater and Aqib Talib have all been selected to represent the New England Patriots in the Pro Bowl, which will take place on Jan. 26, 2014 in Hawaii.

This will be Brady's ninth time to the Pro Bowl. Currently, only John Hannah has been nine times and the two are now competing for the record of the most Pro Bowls in Patriots history. Brady is going into the last week of the season with 4,221 yards and 24 touchdown passes.

Mankins has been to the Pro Bowl five times before. He is the first Patriots guard to earn a Pro Bowl pick since 1985. Slater will go to the Pro Bowl for the third time next year. He is a member of the special teams unit for the Pats. Talib will be heading to the Pro Bowl for the first time.
