BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – It has been four months since The Forum last opened its doors to the public, but on Monday the restaurant got a taste of what it will feel like to welcome patrons back for business.
The Forum proudly reopened for tours Monday for the first time following the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings.
The bar and restaurant suffered extensive damage when the second pressure cooker bomb exploded right outside its doors on Boylston Street.
The Forum has a revamped floor plan and new menu.
A reopening celebration will be held Thursday with the Joe Andruzzi Foundation and supporters who were in attendance during the marathon so they can "finish what they started that April morning."
The restaurant will officially open to the public for dinner service Friday.
