Former youth football coach accused of sexually assaulting boy

LEOMINSTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A former youth football coach is facing charges amid allegations that he sexually assaulted a boy.

Benjamin B. Brause, 36, of Leominster was arrested Friday night and charged with two counts of statutory rape and one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.

Brause was a youth football coach in Leominster beginning in the 90's until 2008. He also was a coach in Lunenburg between 2009 and 2010.

He is being held on $100,000 bail and will be arraigned Monday. No other information was immediately available.
