Former tennis instructor pleads guilty to child porn charges

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Northboro man and former tennis instructor pleaded guilty to three counts of child pornography possession and one count of disseminating child pornography Thursday.

Joshua Lundberg, 29, was sentenced to 18 months in jail with 60 days to serve. Additionally, he was sentenced to 10 years of probation in the case with the balance of the jail sentence suspended, The Telegram & Gazette reports.

During probation, Lundberg is required to register as a sex offender, have no unsupervised contact with children under 16, refrain from drug use and attend different programs.

Lundberg's lawyer argued that his client's learning disabilities and depression coupled with his excessive marijuana use caused him to leave one college and immerse himself in computers and child pornography, reports the newspaper.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Lundberg's home on Feb. 2, 2012 and found that he was perpetrating his crimes on a peer-to-peer file sharing network.

At the time of their search, police say he was actively downloading child porn. Police found a baby doll, children's clothing, and bibs in the bedroom. There were also hundreds of images and videos.

Lundberg later admitted he was responsible for downloading child pornography on his laptop computers.

At the time of his arrest, Lundberg was a tennis instructor at the Westborough Tennis and Swim Club.
