Flights stopping at Logan at around 8 p.m., until noon Friday

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Travelers take note: the snow storm is severely impacting flights at Boston Logan Airport on Thursday, and the airport will stop operations Thursday into Friday.

A few cancellations have already been announced for Thursday flights, said Ed Freni, the aviation director at Massport, which runs the airport.

All airlines are canceling flights from Logan at around 8:30 p.m., Freni said, and no flights will come into the airport tonight either.

Massport doesn't expect to start up airport operations again until tomorrow, "somewhere before noontime."

Freni urged those traveling this afternoon and tomorrow to call their airline and check on the status of their specific flight.
