Flights resume at Logan Airport following Christmas cancellations

Boston Logan Airport is sorting out flight problems caused by the Christmas storm.

Low visibility and icy conditions brought operations to a standstill as officials tried to keep the runways clear.

Officials say JetBlue Flight 50 from Savannah, Georgia, briefly skidded when it landed around 7:15 p.m. Monday. Firefighters helped passengers off of the plane and they were bused to the terminal.

Authorities say no one was injured.

At one point, there were more than 50 flights canceled or delayed out of Boston. Officials said it helped that it was a light schedule for flights on Christmas Day.

Now, schedules are back to normal and holiday travel continues. Some flights have been delayed at Logan Tuesday morning, but only one has been canceled.

If you have a flight, give yourself extra time to get to, and through the airport.
