Fitchburg murder suspect arrested in Indiana

RICHMOND, Ind. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A man wanted in Massachusetts on a charge of murder was arrested Monday night in Indiana.

Dinku Brown, 27, is being detained in the Wayne County Jail to await extradition to Massachusetts, according to 107.1 FM.

Brown was taken into custody at about 6:40 p.m. when members of the ISP Emergency Response Team and the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force stopped a vehicle in Richmond.

Investigators say Brown had relatives living in Richmond.

Brown is wanted in the slaying of a Fitchburg man that occurred during a home invasion on June 21.
