FITCHBURG, Mass. (AP) - Police say a Fitchburg man who robbed two women at knifepoint in a local laundry before stealing a car and leading police on a chase through several communities has been arrested.

Police say they responded to the Ultra Wash Laundromat at about 6 a.m. Sunday. Mack allegedly robbed two women at knifepoint, robbed the business and stole a car from one of the women.

Mack then led police on a chase through several towns and along Route 2. Mack drove as far west as Orange before doubling back to Gardner, where he was arrested.
