• Firefighters respond to two-alarm fire in Boston


    BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Firefighters in Boston responded to a two-alarm fire on Hancock Street Sunday.

    The fire occurred in a vacant three and half story building located at 271 Hancock St. at about 5 p.m.

    Upon arrival, smoke was visible and fire was coming through the roof. During the fire, crews were ordered out of the attic.

    The fire was extinguished at about 6:30 p.m. There were no injuries and damage was estimated at $350,000.

    Fire investigators are on scene trying to determine the cause and point of origin.
