KINGSTON, N.H. — A lumber yard fire in Kingston ignited around 1 a.m. Saturday and continued burning well into the morning, N.H. fire officials say.
Witnesses say flames were burning higher than the surrounding tree tops at Northland Forest Products early in the morning.
Officials on scene told FOX25 one firefighter was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion early in the morning because the flames were so intense.
It's that intensity that kept the flames re-igniting well into daylight hours and has kept firefighters on scene.
