Fire displaces 20 in Brookline; no injuries reported

BROOKLINE, Mass — Crews from multiple cities responded to a late-night fire in Brookline.

Firefighters were called to a large apartment building on Babcock Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.

Crews battled single-digit temperatures and frozen hydrants as they worked to put out the flames inside the walls.

It doesn't appear anyone was injured, but about 20 people were displaced as a result.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
