WESTMINSTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – One person is in critical condition and two others were hurt in a fiery, overnight crash in Westminster.
According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, two cars slammed into each other around 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Worcester Road, which is also Route 140.
Two victims were taken to a hospital in Gardner. The person in critical condition was reportedly trapped inside the burning car. They were taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
A nearby resident also suffered minor injuries while trying to help the trapped victim.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
