Ferries canceled for second night in a row due to bad weather

HYANNIS (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) The Mass. Steamship Authority has canceled several trips for the second night in a row due to weather conditions.

Ferries departing from Woods Hole at 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. are canceled. Two ferries, one leaving Nantucket at 5:30 p.m. and another leaving Hyannis at 8 p.m. have also been canceled.

Thursday's cancellations come one day after the authority was forced to cancel evening ferries due to high winds. The winds from Wednesday night continued into Thursday night, making for treacherous sea travel.
