MILFORD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Massachusetts woman who got into a crash a few weeks ago in Milford realized it was really a blessing in disguise.
Two weeks ago, Kim Kerswell hit another vehicle with her Chevy Tahoe, which caused damage. The crash happened just before she started her shift at Panera Bread.
The divorced single mother from Whitinsville then began venting to the woman whose car she hit, Sherene Borr, telling her she was under a lot of stress for the crash and not being able to afford Christmas.
That's when Borr broke down and told Kerswell her mom was a single mother too and that she would like to sponsor her and her children for Christmas.
Borr asked Kerswell to compile a list of Christmas gifts for her two children. Borr then shared that list with friends who donate during the holiday season. A few days later, everything on Kerswell's list had been purchased.
