BOSTON — The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Massachusetts State Police spent Wednesday digging in a wooded area in West Roxbury for a missing person, and investigators were back at it again on Thursday.
The search along Enneking Parkway is connected to a Mattapan woman who disappeared ten years ago, in October 2007. She has not been named.

Dan Hayes has lived up the street for more than 20 years and says the area never has a lot of traffic.
"That is what they call conservation land. There are no residents in that area except for the animals, of course. There's no people living in that area," said Hayes.
Boston police would not say what specifically they're looking for or how much longer they may be out digging. The area is already a construction zone as it's close to where the new pipeline is being installed in West Roxbury.
