FBI seeks information on suspected child sexual predator

WASHINGTON, D.C. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The FBI is looking for identifying information on a man who has allegedly engaged in explicit sexual activity with a child.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recorded images and video of the man, identified only as John Doe 28, sexually exploiting a child in 2012. The images were enhanced to show the suspect more clearly, as well as show potentially identifying details.

The man was seen inside a residence with a blue sofa chair and picture hanging on the wall in the background.

John Doe 28 is a white male possibly in his 30s or 40s, with a receding hairline and wire-rimmed glasses. He was wearing a maroon shirt with a shark logo on the left side at the time the images were obtained.

The FBI is seeking the suspect as a part of the bureau's Operation Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program.

Anyone with information on John Doe 28 can submit a tip online, or call the FBI's toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
