FBI Boston seeking serial bank robber

BOSTON — FBI Boston is looking for a man who robbed four banks within a week.

The suspect is responsible for at least four unarmed bank robberies in the Boston, Massachusetts, area:

  • December 6, 2017: Commerce Bank, 1320 Washington Street, Boston
  • December 7, 2017: Santander Bank, 585 Columbia Road, Boston
  • December 9, 2017: Metro Credit Union, 1071 Mass Ave, Boston
  • December 11, 2017: East Boston Savings Bank, 708 E Broadway, South Boston

Officials say during all four unarmed robberies, the man wore a long sweatshirt or jacket, long pants and a hat. The suspect also has "very defined cheek lines on his face."

The FBI has described the suspect as a white man in his 40s, standing around 5'6".

The FBI said the suspect didn't show a weapon in these incidents - instead, he produced a note demanding cash.
