Fan falls after Patriots game

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A fan took a serious fall into shallow water while leaving Sunday night's game.

Police say a man fell 14 feet into the Neponset River on North Street in Foxborough. Rescuers say the water was only a foot deep.
    
The man was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries. His condition is not known.

Police have not said whether alcohol played a factor.
