Family: Mom, teen tied up during Randolph armed home invasion

RANDOLPH, Mass. — Randolph police are searching for three suspects involved in an armed home invasion.

Police were called to a home on Highland Avenue in Randolph just before 10 a.m. Thursday for a reported home invasion.

The family tells Boston 25 News Reporter Malini Basu that three men forced their way into the home and tied up the mother, and a 17-year-old family friend who had brought his two younger siblings over for a visit. Those teen's siblings and the woman's daughter were forced to sit on the couch while the suspects ransacked the home.

“I was feeling scared. I cried. The people pushed me,” 8-year-old Hao Hong said.

In a news release sent out by Randolph police Thursday afternoon, it was reported that a female babysitter and a 17-year-old were tied up.

According to the family, cell phones, an iPad and money were stolen.

Police say the suspects are described as two Hispanic men with arm tattoos, and one Vietnamese man, all in their 20s.

The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Randolph police or Massachusetts State Police.
