Fall River woman found dead inside car

FALL RIVER (AP) - Authorities have identified a 31-year-old woman who was found dead in her car in Fall River, and they say her death doesn't appear to have been a random incident.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says the victim was Aja Pascual of Fall River. Her body was found in a car parked on Cherry Street at about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, after local residents reported hearing gunshots.

Police believe her death was a homicide.

Fall River police, state police and the district attorney's office are investigating. Anyone with information about the woman's death is urged to call Fall River police.
