FAA investigating more laser pointer incidents

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating more cases of lasers being shined into planes flying over New England.

The first case involved a Cape Air flight approaching Logan International Airport just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The Cessna 402 was at an altitude of 3,000 feet when the incident occurred.

Two other incidents involving a Cobalt Air charter flight were reported just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The flight was south of I-93 in New Hampshire at the time.

Earlier this year, Delta Air Lines and JetBlue flights in the areas of Boston and Providence reported having their cockpits illuminated by a green laser.
