Ex-Sen. Brown set to deliver NH political address

BOSTON (AP) - Former Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is heading to New Hampshire next month to deliver a speech before GOP activists.

Brown is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for the Grafton County Republican Committee's Lincoln-Reagan Luncheon.

The event will be held April 20 in Hanover.

New Hampshire is home to the nation's first presidential primary every four years.

Scott Brown ran for re-election last year, but was defeated by Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren, now the state's senior senator.

Brown opted out of running for the Senate in this year's special election to fill the seat left vacant by the resignation of former Democratic Sen. John Kerry to become secretary of state.

Last month, Brown accepted a job as a commentator for Fox News Channel, a move that will help him maintain a national political identity.
