Elderly man hit by truck in Reading, extent of injuries unknown

READING, Mass. — An elderly man has been hit by a pickup truck in Reading, according to police.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Haven and High Streets.

Police have not released the victim’s age, identity or the status of his injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
