Easton Dunkin' Donuts worker punched repeatedly during armed robbery

EASTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Dunkin' Donuts employee was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after being repeatedly punched by a robber Monday night.

Easton police say the incident occurred at the Dunkin' Donuts located near the intersection of Main and Washington Streets at about 9:30 p.m.

The suspect entered the eatery and jumped over the counter and ordered two employees to the ground at gunpoint. During the robbery, a physical altercation occurred between one employee and the robber, which resulted in the employee being transported.

Police describe the suspect as a light skinned black man between 18 and 20 years of age. The man has a thin build and stands between 5'8" and 5'10" tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black pants and a dark gray hooded sweatshirt.
