EAST FALMOUTH (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 51-year-old East Falmouth man had the winning hand in Saturday's Massachusetts State Lottery poker tournament. Eugene Condon Jr. is now $10 million richer.
The game was Texas Hold 'Em and the tournament involved more than 500 lottery players. Those players offered the chance, after playing the scratch ticket game.
Condon was part of the final 4 at the final table and said he never expected to make it that far.
Condon said he plans to pay off his house with his winnings.
