East Boston senior launches winning Hail Mary during game with Madison Park

East Boston high schooler Pat Santos hit a full-court buzzer-beater to defeat host Madison Park, 43-42, on Tuesday night.

In the final seconds against East Boston, guard Johnny Bowden got fouled on a three-point shot. After making the first two free throws to put his team ahead, Bowden intentionally missed the third free throw.

Eastie's Pat Santos grabbed the ball and immediately fired the ball toward the opposite basket 80 feet and nailed it. That shot gave East Boston the win with the final score 43 to 42.

Santos is getting a lot of love from the clip. He even appeared on the Top Ten Plays of the Day on ESPN's SportsCenter.
