Early morning fire displaces 5 in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Five people were displaced by a fire inside a two family home in Mansfield on Saturday morning.

Fire officials say crews responded to 27 Highland Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. for the 2-alarm fire. It took two hours to douse the flames.

All of the residents were able to safely make it out of the home. One of the residents was transported to a local hospital for a possible ankle injury.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Officials say the home sustained an estimated $100,000 worth of damages.
